A driver in North Houston has been arrested following an accident in which one man was thrown from an elevated section of I-45 to the frontage road below. According to police, a man was working on his vehicle on the right shoulder of I-45 when he was hit by a truck from behind. The force of the impact caused the man to be thrown from the freeway onto the road below where he died. The driver has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.
